20.11.2024 | The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 20 November 2024. The CRA sets minimum cyber security requirements for products and software that can be connected to the internet or to other devices. 13.6.2024 | The President of the Republic approved amendments to the Act on Electronic Communications Services on 13 June 2024. The amendments concern two acts but in practice affect the validity of certain provisions of the Act on Electronic Communications Services. 27.6.2024 | The Government proposes that the President of the Republic approve the amendments to the Act on Electronic Communication Services and that the Act enter into force on 1 July 2024. The must-carry obligation for radio programmes would be removed from the Act, the provision on the revocation of radio licences would be amended and other technical amendments would be made.
