14.3.2019 | The Artificial Intelligence Programme report published today on 14 March 2019 presents, in addition to the programme findings, the recommendations of nine distinguished international specialists.

The goal of the funding is to promote technological innovations and digital development in blue bioeconomy business. The projects receiving funding aim to find solutions in various areas, including automatic gathering and broader, smarter utilisation of data.

6.2.2020 | On 6 February 2020, the Ministry of Finance launched the AuroraAI programme. Continuing until the end of 2022, the programme lays the foundation for using artificial intelligence to bring services and people together in a better way.

15.1.2019 | A study commissioned by the Government shows that Finland’s AI expertise is at a good European level in terms of research, business expertise and education. In terms of its country size category, Finland is strong in AI expertise. The study was carried out by experts of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Aalto University, Research Institute of the Finnish Economy (ETLA) and Silo.AI.
