20.11.2025 | On Thursday 20 November, the Government submitted its proposal to Parliament to amend the budget proposal for 2026. It includes proposals to launch new transport projects and to support Ukraine. The proposal will decrease the revenue estimate by EUR 189 million and increase the requirement for appropriations by EUR 455 million.

26.8.2022 | Finland has made significant progress on climate change adaptation in recent years, which is reflected in the legislation and strategies of different administrative branches. These strategic objectives should now be implemented more widely by increasing concrete measures both in individual sectors and at the regional and municipal levels. This is according to a new overall evaluation of progress on national climate change adaptation policy published on 26 August.

The principles for testing are still to detect infections quickly, curb the spread of infections among the population and protect particularly people who are at an increased risk of contracting a severe case of COVID-19.

15.4.2021 | Instructions have now been created for the construction industry for assessing the risk of COVID-19 infections. According to the instructions, the main contractor of the construction site is responsible for having a general risk assessment made. Everyone working at the construction site must comply with the assessment-based measures. In addition, other employers involved in the construction site assess the risks of their operations.
