Prime Minister Marin to attend EU summit in Brussels

Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend an extraordinary meeting of the European Council to be held in Brussels on Thursday 24 February.

President of the European Council Charles Michel states in his invitation that Russia’s aggressive acts violate international law and Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and undermine European security. 

The extraordinary meeting of the European Council will discuss the military actions taken against Ukraine, measures to support Ukraine and its people, how to respond to Russia and hold it accountable for its actions, and how to protect the rules-based international order.
