Government issues resolution adopting yesterday’s decision to lift restrictions on early childhood education and care and on primary and lower secondary education
At its plenary session on Thursday 30 April, the Government issued a resolution in line with the decision made yesterday to gradually dismantle the restrictions placed on early childhood education and care and on primary and lower secondary education during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the resolution, the decree on temporary restrictions on the obligation to organise early childhood education and care and school education under the Emergency Powers Act (191/2020) will no longer be extended after 13 May 2020. Beginning on 14 May, school education and early childhood education and care under the Basic Education Act and the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care will resume in a controlled and gradual manner.
