Prime Minister Marin to attend EU summits in Brussels

Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend the European Council in Brussels on 24 and 25 March and attend the Euro Summit on 25 March.

Topics on the agenda at the European Council will be Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, security and defence, energy, economic issues, COVID-19, external relations and the appointment of the next President of the European Council. In addition, the European Council will have a discussion with United States President Joe Biden, who is visiting Brussels. 

The Euro Summit, to be held in inclusive format, will discuss the economic situation and review progress on the banking union and capital markets union.
