Minister Ranne to attend Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Minister of Transport and Communications Lulu Ranne will attend the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 26–27 February 2024. Her agenda includes speaking events and meetings with ministers and business representatives.

Minister Ranne will meet José Luis Escrivá, Minister for Digital Transformation and Civil Service of Spain. They will discuss topical issues related to digital regulation in the EU.

She will also meet Hiroshi Yoshida, Vice-Minister in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, and YB Tuan Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil, Minister of Digitalisation of Malaysia. The discussions will focus on 5G, 6G and cyber security.

Minister Ranne will give an opening speech at a Finnish Pavilion event organised by Business Finland. She will also participate in a Nordic Security Event panel discussion on digital security and Nordic co-operation organised by Telenor.
