Ministers Bergqvist and Multala to attend the Paralympics

Sandra Bergqvist, Minister of Youth, Sport and Physical Activity, will attend the Paralympics in Paris from 28 to 30 August, and Sari Multala, Minister of Science and Culture, will be there from 5 to 6 September. The ministers will follow various sports that Finnish Paralympic athletes will be competing in, such as para archery, wheelchair sprint events and para equestrian.

Minister Bergqvist will participate the International Disability Inclusion Conference: Harnessing the Transformational Impact of Para Sport organised by UNESCO on Wednesday 28 August. She will be attending the opening of the Paralympics on the same day. 

On Thursday 29 August, Bergqvist will meet the Canadian Minister of Sport and Physical Activity, Carla Qualtrough and will attend the reception of the Finnish team organised by the Finnish Paralympic Committee and the Finnish Embassy in Paris.
