Tiina Kivinen has taken office as Special Adviser to Minister of the Interior Maria Ohisalo. Kivinen is responsible for matters relating to EU affairs, migration, asylum policy and intelligence.
Prior to her appointment, Kivinen served as Secretary General of the Green Parliamentary Group. Emilia Laaksonen, who has held the post until now, is on family leave.
Jarno Lappalainen (Bachelor of Science, Technology), Sami Kerman (Master of Science, Technology), Heikki Sairanen (Bachelor of Science, Technology) and Sameli Sivonen (Master’s student, architecture and economics) will all stay on as special advisers on the Minister’s staff.
