The Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment assists the Permanent Secretary in managing and coordinating strategically important policies and steering of activities and operational models in the Ministry and its administrative branch. This is a new position.

The Under-Secretary of State assists the Permanent Secretary in the preparation and management of large-scale special projects and reforms, particularly those related to employment and labour market policy.
