The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces visits the NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)

The Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Janne Jaakkola, will visit the NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) on 21st of May 2024.

The visitation is hosted by the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Christopher G. Cavoli. During the visit, General Jaakkola will have meetings with SHAPE’s leadership and with the Finns serving in SHAPE. 

The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) is a command headquarters under NATO's Operations Command (ACO) and the Commander of NATO Forces in Europe (SACEUR). SHAPE is located in the village of Mons, Belgium.
