Australia's Minister of Defence visits Finland

Australia's Minister of Defence Richard Marles visited Helsinki on 9 June to meet with Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.

Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen and Australia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Richard Marles discussed bilateral defence cooperation, defence materiel cooperation and the security policy situation in Europe and the Indo-Pacific region.

“I see many opportunities for closer cooperation between Australia’s and Finland's defence industries and technology sectors. This growing cooperation will strengthen the security of our countries,” said Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.
