Ministry of Defence decided on procurement of air defence missiles

The Ministry of Defence has authorised the Defence Forces to order Bolide air defence missiles, to be delivered by Saab Dynamics AB, Sweden.  


- The additional procurement of Bolide missiles is part of the plan to improve the operational readiness and performance of air defence missile systems, says Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen.


The overall value of the procurement, without value added tax, is EUR 76.6 million, and it will be financed from the second supplementary budget, which included additional funding for rapidly launched defence materiel procurements.
