Ministry of Defence issues decision on framework agreement on radio parts and routers for Finnish software-defined radio

Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen has authorised the Defence Forces to conclude a framework agreement with Bittium Wireless on the purchase of radio parts and routers for a domestic software-defined radio. 

The framework agreement will be in force from 2023 to 2028. All three services of the Defence Forces will be using the radio parts and routers.  

The maximum value of the framework agreement, with value added tax, is about EUR 64 million, with a domestic employment effect of up to 85 person-years.
