Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen to visit United States

Permanent Secretary of Finland’s Ministry of Defence Esa Pulkkinen will pay a working visit to the United States on 2–6 March 2025. During his visit, he will meet representatives of the new US administration at the Department of Defense and the Department of State.

Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen will visit NATO’s Allied Command Transformation and Joint Force Command in Norfolk. In relation to Finland’s procurement of F-35 fighter jets, Pulkkinen will meet representatives of Lockheed Martin and of the Department of Defense’s F-35 Joint Program Office in charge of F-35 life-cycle management.
