You can now follow our student and researcher communications on Instagram

The Finnish Immigration Service has opened an Instagram account, @maahanmuuttovir, aimed at students and researchers. On Instagram, we will share information and instructions on the residence permit options that exist for students and researchers.

To ask us questions, you can leave a comment on Instagram in English, Finnish or Swedish. Even though we cannot comment on individual applications, we will answer questions on a general level. For data security reasons, it is not possible to send us private messages.
