Act on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items and guidelines for companies are now available in English

The new national Act on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items (500/2024) entered into force on 15 September 2024. An unofficial English translation of the Act has now been published at  finlex.fi/en/laki/kaannokset/2024/en20240500.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has drawn up guidelines for companies to help them interpret the legislation concerning dual-use items and to explain what kind of legal obligations they have. These guidelines are now available also in English.
