On 13 July, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs will organise a discussion where representatives of international trade and different companies will look into future prospects of export trade, which are overshadowed by the war in Ukraine and rivalry between the great powers.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine overturned the export prospects of many companies. The sanctions and the unstable global situation have a direct impact on companies’ business activities. How do Finnish missions abroad respond to the situation? What kind of export promotion services does the Ministry for Foreign Affairs offer and what do companies currently need the most?

The panellists will be Director Juha Markkanen at Team Finland Export Promotion Unit, Director of International Affairs and Trade at Finland Chamber of Commerce Lenita Toivakka, Vice President for Trade and Export Finance at Konecranes Matti Malminen, CEO at Sampo-Rosenlew Jussi Malmi, and Team Finland Senior Specialist Riku Mäkelä from the Embassy of Finland in Singapore. The event will be hosted by Communications and Public Diplomacy Expert Helena Liikanen-Renger.

Welcome to the yard of Pori City Hall on Wednesday 13 July 2022 at 15.00. You can follow the event on SuomiAreena’s website.
