The Finnish Immigration Service has changed its policy and is currently not issuing residence permits for work or study for holders of Palestinian passports.
Finland continues to recognize passports issued by the Palestinian Authority. Finland continues to equate Palestinian passports to national passports, as it has done since 1995. Visas are still issued to Palestinian passports, and they remain valid for travel to Finland.
