Finland’s Consulate General in Houston to begin provision of consular services

On 30 January 2026, the President of the Republic approved an amendment to the Annex to the Decree of the President of the Republic on the Locations of Finland’s Diplomatic Missions and the Provision of Consular Services in the Foreign Service.
Following the amendments to the decree, Finland’s Consulate General in Houston will begin the provision of consular services on 16 February 2026.
The Consulate will provide such regular consular services as passport services. However, residence permit services will continue to be provided by Finland’s Consulate General in New York.
