Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will visit Boston in the United States from 19 to 21 May.
The Foreign Minister will deliver keynote remarks at the Commencement Ceremony of the Fletcher School at Tufts University. The Fletcher School is one of the leading graduate schools of international relations in the United States.
Foreign Minister Haavisto will also participate in a round table panel on the possibilities of decarbonisation and in a discussion on European security.
Minister Haavisto will have bilateral meetings with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed and local researchers, among others. Topics of the meetings include Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ethiopia, Sudan and topical UN matters.
