The EU Foreign Affairs Council will convene in Brussels on 19 January. Finland's representative at the meeting will be Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.

The main themes on the agenda will be Russia, the situation in Libya and climate change. In addition, foreign ministers will discuss the fight against terrorism. They will also meet with the Arab League Secretary General Nabil El Araby.
