Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will attend an informal meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Prague, the Czech Republic, on 30–31 May.
The meeting will focus on preparations for the NATO Summit in Washington, DC in July 2024 and on extensive support for Ukraine.
“The support for Ukraine will be at the heart of both this meeting and the NATO summit in Washington in July. It is important for Finland that NATO sends the strongest possible message to Ukraine about continuing support,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
Minister Valtonen will also participate in a panel discussion at the Czech Senate together with the Czech and Polish foreign ministers.
