Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will attend the Munich Security Conference on 14–16 February. She will take part in a panel on hybrid warfare and speak at an event on new geopolitics.

Minister Valtonen will also meet representatives of the German Bundestag, US senators and have other high-level bilateral discussions on topical foreign and security policy issues.

“Changes in the operating environment and new kinds of threats require new responses. The Munich Security Conference will be an excellent opportunity for us and our partners to seek answers together. Strengthening European security is a key priority for us. We maintain a rules-based international order and the principles of the OSCE and strengthen the EU’s foreign and security policy and geopolitical roles,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
