Foreign Minister Valtonen to speak about European security in Germany

Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will visit Berlin on 5 May to participate in discussions on topical foreign and security policy matters.
Minister Valtonen will give a speech on topical European security matters at the German Federal Academy for Security Policy (Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik). She will also meet Member of the German Bundestag Johann Wadephul, who is set to become Germany’s foreign minister.
“Germany plays an important role in the security of Finland and Europe. We want to continue our close cooperation with Germany and its new Federal Government to build a stronger Europe,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
