Foreign Minister Valtonen to visit Germany
Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will visit Berlin on 9 September. She will meet Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Johann Wadephul.
The foreign ministers will discuss current foreign and security policy affairs, Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, cooperation in the Baltic Sea region, and bilateral matters.
Minister Elina Valtonen will also participate as a guest in the conference of the heads of German missions, where she will attend a panel discussion on links between security policy and foreign trade in a changing global geoeconomy.
“We are systematically developing our foreign and security policy cooperation with Germany to build a stronger and more competitive Europe,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
