Foreign Minister Valtonen to visit Lithuania

Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis in Vilnius on 16 April.
The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral and regional cooperation and topical foreign and security policy issues, including support for Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East. Current NATO issues and EU enlargement will also be discussed at the meeting.
“Lithuania is one of our closest partners, and we have frequent contacts. Our countries have a great deal in common, and it is important to discuss topical foreign and security policy matters bilaterally on a regular basis,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
