French Foreign Minister to visit Finland

Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will host France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna in Finland.
The foreign ministers will discuss current foreign and security policy questions, including EU and NATO affairs, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, long-term support to Ukraine and topical bilateral matters.
“Relations between Finland and France are closer than ever following Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and Finland’s membership in NATO. We are working closely together in many different fields and levels. I am pleased to have this opportunity to host Minister Colonna in Helsinki,” says Foreign Minister Valtonen.
While in Finland, Minister Colonna will also meet Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
