Matias Marttinen to serve as Minister of Employment

Member of Parliament Matias Marttinen will take up his post as the new Minister of Employment on Tuesday 6 May 2025.

The President of the Republic will appoint Member of Parliament Matias Marttinen to serve as Minister of Employment as previously agreed. At the same time, the President will release Arto Satonen from his duties as Minister of Employment and as a member of the Government. Satonen will continue as a Member of Parliament. The appointment will take place at the presidential session on Tuesday 6 May 2025, which will be followed by an extraordinary government session.
