Minister Adlercreutz to visit Stockholm

Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Anders Adlercreutz will travel to Stockholm on Monday 11 March. During the visit, Minister Adlercreutz will meet with Swedish Minister for EU Affairs Jessika Roswall and take part in several other high-level meetings.

Discussions with Minister Roswall will focus on a wide range of topical EU issues, such as defence and security, competitiveness, rule of law issues and work on the future of the EU.

Minister Adlercreutz will also meet with State Secretary responsible for state-owned companies Lars Hjälmered, Managing Director of the Finnish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce Kjell Skoglund and former Swedish Minister of Finance Anders Borg, the newly elected chair of the board of the Swedish state-owned company LKAB.

“Sweden is Finland’s closest bilateral partner. Developments in European security policy have further highlighted the importance of this relationship. I am very happy to be able to visit our dear neighbour at this historic moment and to personally welcome Sweden to NATO,” says Minister Adlercreutz.
