Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Tavio to visit Copenhagen
Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio will visit Copenhagen on 3 October. The aim of the visit is to promote the commercial and economic relations between Finland and Denmark and foreign investments in Finland. During his visit, Minister Tavio will meet Denmark’s public officials and key business representatives.
The Minister will meet with, among others, representatives from Dansk Industri, the Confederation of Danish Industry, and the State of Green organisation, and discuss the clean transition and the opportunities for commercial and economic cooperation between Finland and Denmark.
Minister Tavio will also meet the management of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Copenhagen to discuss matters including the opportunities for Finnish companies in UN procurement.
The meetings with State Secretary Lina Gandløse Hansen and Under-Secretary Ole Thonke from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will focus on topical matters related to export promotion and trade and development policy.
“As a Nordic country, Denmark is an important partner for Finland, and we collaborate closely in technology, sustainable development and energy. We share many interests in sustainable growth, innovation and digitalisation,” says Minister Tavio.
