Minister Anna-Maja Henriksson, who is responsible for matters related to Nordic cooperation, will attend a meeting of the Ministers for Nordic co-operation in Malmö, Sweden, on Tuesday 18 June.

The ministers are to discuss matters including the report on cross-border barriers, and the development of co-operation between the Nordic countries to remove cross-border barriers to freedom of movement.

“The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss ways to develop the work on freedom of movement. The venue, Malmö, and the entire Öresund region are concrete examples of the importance of mobility between the Nordic countries,” says Minister Henriksson.

Sweden, which is holding the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2024, will organise a working lunch in connection with the meeting on the topic of people’s ability to access cross-border digital services.
