Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain to visit Finland

In their discussions, the Ministers will focus on the Ukraine crisis and the rapidly changing security situation in Europe.

“The war in Ukraine has led to rapid changes in the European security environment. The EU countries have been very united in their positions, and bilateral meetings have become increasingly important. Spain is a major EU and NATO country, and contacts with it have been close in recent months. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to discuss with my Spanish counterpart in Helsinki,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Haavisto.
