Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat to Finland

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Filat, will visit Finland on 11 and 12 September and have a meeting with Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen on 12 September. The premiers' agenda will include bilateral relations between the two countries, relations between Moldova and the EU and issues relating to the Eastern Partnership.

At the premiers' meeting, Prime Minister Filat will be accompanied by Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca. During his visit, Prime Minister Filat will also have a meeting with Minister for International Development Heidi Hautala.

Minister Leanca's programme will include discussions with Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.
