On Friday 22 October, the President of the Republic decided to appoint new non-resident ambassadors.

The President of the Republic authorised Ambassador Sari Rautio, Head of the Finnish Embassy in Madrid, to represent Finland also in Andorra. In addition, the President of the Republic authorised Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola, Head of the Finnish Embassy in Nairobi, to represent Finland also in Seychelles and Uganda.
