At the presidential session on Friday 10 September 2021, the President of the Republic appointed new non-resident ambassadors.

The President of the Republic authorised Ambassador Antti Kaski, Head of the Embassy of Finland in Bogotá, to represent Finland also in Panama; Ambassador Pekka Kosonen, Head of the Embassy of Finland in Cairo, to represent Finland also in Sudan; and Ambassador Päivi Pohjanheimo, Head of the Embassy of Finland in Mexico City, to represent Finland also in El Salvador.
