Finland holds the Chairpersonship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2025. OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen has appointed Christoph Späti as her Special Representative for the South Caucasus.
The work of Special Representative Christoph Späti (Switzerland) will focus on Georgia.
He will represent the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office as co-chair of the Geneva International Discussions to address the consequences of the 2008 war in Georgia. The other co-chairs are representatives of the EU and the UN.
