OSCE Chairman to visit Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan
The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, will visit Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan from 2 to 5 June.
He will meet the presidents, foreign ministers and parliamentary speakers of the three countries to discuss OSCE issues as well as bilateral and other international priority areas. He will also meet with representatives of civil society and the international community.
Topics on the agenda include support in fulfilling OSCE commitments, border security and management, OSCE engagement with Afghanistan, environmental security, human rights, working with civil society, and strengthening co-operation and regional stability.
