President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss current situation in Ukraine

In their meeting on Friday 14 March, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Finland is looking into options for participating in Ukraine’s security arrangements in line with its own security interests.

The President and the Ministerial Committee also discussed the meeting of leaders on Ukraine to be held on 15 March 2025, which will focus on the next steps towards ending Russia’s war of aggression and on security arrangements to support Ukraine.
