On 22 December, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed current issues relating to the development of NATO and Finland’s partnership with NATO. Finland will continue its close partnership cooperation with NATO.
The meeting also addressed issues related to Russia. The topics consisted of regional, international and bilateral issues.
In addition, the meeting discussed the situation concerning Russia and Ukraine.
