Prime Minister Katainen to Brussels
Tomorrow, on 16 January, Prime Minister Katainen will meet President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy in Brussels. Discussions at the informal meeting will focus on the EU's multiannual framework for 2014–2020. Katainen and Von Rompuy will also discuss the development of the Economic and Monetary Union and other key EU issues.
Katainen will also have a meeting with the Vice-President of the European Commission Neelie Kroes who is also the Commissioner responsible for the Digital Agenda for Europe. Their discussions will centre on the internal market and the digital agenda.
