Prime ministers of Finland and Ukraine speak by phone
Finland’s Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko spoke by telephone on Monday 11 August.
Their discussion focused on Finland's support for Ukraine, bilateral relations, Ukraine's path towards further EU integration and the current international situation.
“Finland and Ukraine have extensive and close cooperation with each other. Finland actively supports Ukraine on the path to EU integration, and Prime Minister Svyrydenko and I had a good discussion about the next steps to accession,” says Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
Prime Minister Orpo again congratulated Prime Minister Svyrydenko on her new position.
