On 23 October, South Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong-won will meet Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen in Helsinki. Discussions between the premiers will focus on the countries' bilateral relations and they will also discuss the economic outlook in Finland and Korea, and in the euro area and the world as a whole.
During the meeting, the prime ministers will sign an agreement between South Korea and Finland concerning cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy. During his visit, Prime Minister Chung will also have a meeting with President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and Speaker of Parliament Eero Heinäluoma.
