State Secretary Rajala to travel to New York and Washington

Pasi Rajala, State Secretary to Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen and Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen, will attend meetings on Ukraine at the UN on 24 February. Rajala will travel from New York to Washington DC on 25–26 February.

In New York, State Secretary Rajala will give a joint speech on behalf of the Nordic countries at the UN Security Council’s meeting on Ukraine and represent Finland at the UN General Assembly’s emergency special session on the three-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. At the UN, State Secretary Rajala will also have meetings related to Ukraine and the Middle East.
In Washington, Rajala will meet with representatives of the US administration and Congress.
