Steering group for maritime policy funds under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund reappointed

The steering group for maritime policy funds under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) has been reappointed in line with a decision made on 8 September 2020. In the new appointment decision, the composition of the steering group has been revised and its term of office has been extended until 30 June 2022.

The task of the steering group is to monitor the implementation of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund’s multiannual operational plan and the annual operational plans and projects derived from it. In addition, the steering group can launch application procedures through which applicants can seek funding. The steering group is also participating in the preparation and implementation of the EMFF’s 2021–2027 funding period as concerns maritime policy.
