Sweden’s new Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard to make her first visit to Finland

Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard will visit Finland on 13 September at the invitation of Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen.
The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Sweden and topical foreign and security policy issues, such as Ukraine and NATO.
“I am pleased that Sweden’s new Foreign Minister Malmer Stenergard will visit Finland so soon after her appointment. I look forward to interesting discussions with her. Together we will continue to strengthen relations between our countries,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
Foreign Minister Malmer Stenergard will also meet with President of the Republic Alexander Stubb.
