Sweden’s new Minister for Foreign Affairs to visit Finland

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will meet Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Tobias Billström in Helsinki on 21 October.
The Ministers will discuss bilateral matters and topical foreign and security policy questions, such as Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, support to Ukraine and topical NATO matters.
“It is great that Minister Billström has the opportunity to visit Finland so soon. Sweden is Finland’s most important bilateral partner,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Haavisto.
Tobias Billström started as Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Swedish Government on 18 October 2022. This is his first visit abroad as Minister for Foreign Affairs.
