Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Toivakka meets the Russian chair of the Finnish-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation in St Petersburg

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Lenita Toivakka will travel to St Petersburg to meet the co-chair of the Finnish-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation on Tuesday, 29 March. Minister Toivakka co-chairs the Finnish-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation together with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak.
In their meeting, Minister Toivakka and Minister Kozak will discuss, among other things, the international economic situation, trade and economic relations between Finland and Russia, and matters related to the business environment. Minister Toivakka will also meet representatives of Finnish companies based in St Petersburg.
The Finnish-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation was founded in 1992. Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Toivakka was appointed Chair of the Finnish party in September 2015.
