On 6 May 2025, the President of the Republic appointed Member of Parliament Matias Marttinen, M.Pol.Sc., to serve as Minister of Employment. At the same time, the President released Arto Satonen from his duties as Minister of Employment and as a member of the Government. Following the presidential session, the government plenary session decided on changes to deputising arrangements and the composition of ministerial working groups.
