Behavioural science reviews

From 2022 to 2025, the Finnish Behavioural Policy Team (FINBEPOL) at the Prime Minister’s Office put together behavioural science reviews with the latest research findings from Finland and abroad, making them available to policy planners and decision-makers.  The purpose of the behavioural science reviews was to ensure that the Government had the latest research information at its disposal.

The reviews were compiled in collaboration with eight researchers and research groups based at Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences. Each group or researcher served as an expert on relevant studies published in on a certain theme. The research themes were:

  • behavioural science in public administration
  • strengthening democracy
  • behavioural economics
  • health and wellbeing
  • labour market and legislation
  • sustainable development, and
  • security.
