Behavioural science reviews
The Finnish Behavioural Policy Team (FINBEPOL) at the Prime Minister’s Office coordinates behavioural science reviews, which compile the latest research findings from Finland and abroad, making them available to policy preparers and decision-makers. Such reviews were found beneficial when publishing Covid-19-related research reviews between 2020 and 2022. The behavioural science reviews help ensure that the Government has the latest research information at its disposal.
The reviews are created in collaboration with eight researchers or research groups based in Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences. Each group or researcher serves as an expert for relevant studies published in a certain area. The areas include
- behavioural science in public administration
- strengthening of democracy
- behavioural economics
- health and wellbeing
- labour market, legislation
- sustainable development
- security.
The behavioural science review is published quarterly.
